The science

The science behind the bar.

No hype, no miracle claims — just the two ingredients doing the work, and why they're built for the skin on your body.

The science behind the bar.

Salicylic acid — the acne active

A beta-hydroxy acid (BHA). Because it's oil-based, it gets down into the pore and clears the plug of oil and dead skin where body breakouts start. It's one of the most recognised ingredients for congested, acne-prone skin.

Aloe vera — makes it usable daily

Acids can dry and sting, which is why people quit. A soothing, hydrating aloe base keeps the bar gentle enough to use every day — and consistency is what actually clears skin.

Built for body skin

The skin on your back, shoulders and chest is thicker than your face, so it handles a daily exfoliating cleanse well — and needs an active strong enough to reach through it. Delicate face products often can't.

Clearing vs. brightening

Most body-acne bars fall into two camps — and the difference is the ingredient doing the work.

Many popular bars lead with brightening ingredients like vitamin C, alpha arbutin and turmeric. Those are good for evening skin tone and fading old dark marks — but that's a different job to unclogging the pore.

ACULISE leads with salicylic acid to clear the pore, plus aloe so it stays gentle. So if you're clearing active breakouts, look for the active. If it's leftover marks, brightening helps. We just target the breakout first — gently.

Results vary by skin type and severity. ACULISE is a cosmetic soap that supports clearer-looking skin with consistent daily use — it isn't a medicine and isn't intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
